Two colleagues from Blue Bell BMW Wilmslow, Cathy and Peter Heathcote, recently celebrated the happiest day of their lives, after finding love from across the service centre at the dealership, where they have both worked for 7 years.

The couple, who live in Woodsmoor with Cathy’s daughter Rebekah (13), first met while working together at the dealership in 2004 and as their friendship blossomed, they started dating later that year.

Blue Bell BMW Team Technician, Peter, who popped the question on New Year’s Eve, says: “I finally plucked up the courage to ask Cathy to marry me after being together for 3 years. I was so nervous but I knew it was the right time so at midnight, on New Year’s Eve I proposed and the rest is history.”

Cathy, Blue Bell BMW Service Advisor, comments; “Peter made our wedding day the most special day of our lives and surprisingly he made most of the arrangements. He chose the picturesque Lakeside Hotel in Windermere as the location, as that was the first place that we ever visited together and it just made the occasion ever more special.”

The Heathcote’s travelled to Tunisia to spend their two week honeymoon basking in the sun before returning back to the dealership in late September.

Peter comments; “We are really enjoying married life and it is fantastic to have our friends support at Blue Bell.”
